From the comments it seems like Hotspot is now blocked. Anyone have any other VPN recommendations? How’s WiTopia? I don’t mind paying.
Yes, this program … Yes, this program should theoretically make it impossible for china to know what your IP is. HOWEVER, the Chinese government can still see where you are connecting to and harass you form there. This is a great idea, but the Chinese government, and other governments too. Could block the software from being able to be accessed. I suggest beyond all this that all citizens of countries that censor and clock websites find someone who would be willing to set up a VPN (Virtual private network) for you.
There are ways … There are ways around that but a lot of people either don’t know about it or are to afraid to try. One of the best VPN I have used to date & shows huge potential is HideMyAss. Yea, I know the name sounds funny but it is one of the best. I have already successfully used this in several countries already and might be an alternative for China. This service also encrypts all Internet traffic regardless of what you use to access the web. It does require OpenVPN but only uses the TapWin32 files.
Ah this likely is … Ah this likely is blocked within China as far as the software goes but it should be easy enough to access by other means. It does require a subscription service which might be tricky in how you pay for it without raising suspicion. I recommend not paying by credit card or by any means the government can track. If this program can get to enough people in China they will have a hard time keeping it under control as the genie will already be out of the bag.

For anyone inside China, this is a great way to be able to view whatever content you like. Just a quick software install and you’re ready to go.
